Enlightenment, and Mahaparinirvana of Lord Buddha The 29th International Vesak Day’s activities include: Offerings, prayers and homages to Lord Buddha, Dharma teachings, guided meditation, cultural presentations, and more.

9:00 am Arrival
9:15 am Circumambulation
9:30 am Children’s flower offering
9:45 am Welcoming remarks Homage to Lord Buddha in different languages
10:15 am Bestowal of the five precepts Chanting in Pali Recitation of the Heart Sutra in English
Morning keynote address
11:00 am Lunch for the ordained Sangha, followed by lunch for the laity
12:45 pm Group photo
1:00 pm Guided meditation Afternoon keynote address
1:30 pm Dharma teachings Cultural program
3:30 pm Closing ceremony and dedication of merit
