พิธีสารท  เป็นประเพณีการทำบุญเพื่ออุทิศส่วนกุศลให้แก่บุพการีชน ซึ่งเป็นบรรพบุรุษญาติพี่น้อง ผู้ล่วงลับไปแล้ว ดังนั้น เพื่อให้ท่านสาธุชนทั้งหลายได้มีโอกาสทำบุญในวันสำคัญเช่นนี้ วัดไทยกรุงวอชิงตัน, ดี.ซี. จึงได้จัดงานทำบุญ “วันสารทไทย” ขึ้น โดยมีกำหนดการ ดังนี้

กำหนดการ

วันเสาร์ที่ ๙  กันยายน  ๒๕๖๖  
เวลา   ๐๙.๐๐   น.     สวดมนต์ทำวัตรเช้า, รวบรวมชื่อ-ตั้งรูปภาพ (ผู้ที่ล่วงลับไปแล้ว) เพื่อที่จะบังสุกุลอุทิศ
ส่วนกุศลไปให้ ณ อุโบสถศาลาพุทธมงคลวิมลดีซี
เวลา   ๑๐.๐๐    น.     จัดตั้งต้นผ้าป่ามหากุศลวันสารทไทย
เวลา   ๑๖.๓๐   น.     ทำพิธีกวนข้าวกระยาสารท
เวลา   ๑๘.๐๐   น.     สวดมนต์ทำวัตรเย็น, ฟังธรรม, สนทนาธรรม

วันอาทิตย์ที่  ๑ๆ  กันยายน  ๒๕๖๖

เวลา   ๐๗.๐๐   น.    ถวายภัตตาหารเช้า
เวลา   ๐๘.๐๐   น.     เปิดร้านจำหน่ายอาหาร พืช – ผัก – ผลไม้ และของที่ระลึกต่าง ๆ
เวลา   ๐๙.๐๐   น.     เริ่มทำบุญปิดทองหลวงพ่อดำ /ถวายสังฆทาน /ตักบาตรพระประจำวันเกิด
เวลา   ๑๐.๐๐   น.     พิธีทำบุญถวายสลากภัตผลไม้
– ประธานในพิธีจุดธูปเทียนบูชาพระรัตนตรัย
– สมาทานศีล / สวดมาติกา-บังสุกุล  เพื่ออุทิศส่วนกุศลแก่บุพการีชน
– ฟังพระธรรมเทศนาอานิสงส์วันสารทไทย ๑ กัณฑ์  โดย พระราชมงคลรังษี
– ประกอบพิธีถวายสลากภัตผลไม้  แด่พระสงฆ์  9  รูป (ไม่มีบิณฑบาต)
– พระสงฆ์อนุโมทนา เป็นเสร็จพิธี
เวลา   ๑๑.๐๐   น.     ถวายภัตตาหารเพลแด่พระสงฆ์

จึงขอเชิญชวนท่านพุทธศาสนิกชนทั้งหลาย  มาร่วมทำบุญถวายสลากภัต สมาทานศีล ฟังธรรม ตามวัน เวลา ดังกล่าว โดยพร้อมเพรียงกัน ขออนุโมทนาบุญมา ณ โอกาสนี้.

The protocol is a tradition of making merit for charity. Which is the relative ancestor Therefore, so that all the people have the opportunity to make merit on this important day. Wat Thai, Washington, DC has organized a merit making event “Sart Thai Day” with the following schedule.

Schedule

Saturday, September 9, 2023
At 09.00 hrs., Praying, morning chanting, collecting names – setting pictures (Those who passed away) in order to requite devotion
The charity went to the Ubosot Hall, (Phrabuddhamongkolvimol DC.)
At 10.00 hrs. The setting up of the Money tree donation staffs.
16.30 hrs. Krayasart Thai traditional desert making ceremony
17.00 hrs. Evening chanting, listening to Dharma talks and discussions.

Sunday, September 10,  2023

At 06.00 a.m. Morning Chanting
At 07.00 a.m. Breakfast served to the monks
At 09.00 hrs. Open a shop selling food crops – vegetables – fruits and souvenirs
At 09.00 hrs., Start making merit, Pay homage to Luang Pho Dam and more activities.
At 10.00 am, the merit making ceremony for fruit lottery
– Chairman of the ceremony light the incense, candles,pay homage to the Triple Gem
– Request for the Five Precepts/ Memorial services/the monks chant ceremony
Listen to the sermons, in Thai version  by Phra Ratchamongkolrangsee(Luangta Chi)
– Conducting a ceremony to present the fruit lottery to 9 monks (no alms)
– The monks blessing to all participants
At 11:00 am, offering food to the monks

Therefore you are all be cordially invited to join the special occasion of Sart Thai Day ceremony at Wat Thai Washington, D.C.
